n00b Advice : Tanabe NF210's vs. DF 210's and Rims
I've done my best to search through previous threads for answers, but I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for, so I'm popping my cherry and posting here for the first time.
I just picked up a '09 xB and I'm going for a significantly lowered look that I'd like to achieve with springs and rims. My car is a daily driver, so I cannot have the tires rubbing or anything and I can't give up all of my fuel efficiency.
What are your thoughts on the Tanabe NF210's vs. DF 210's and what size & spec rims I could ride on with the lowered look, not much of a gap between the fenders and tires, but without rubbing on every Chicago pothole?
I appreciate your feedback and would love to seem some pics with specs.
Thank you!

From what I have read, NF210's drop your car perfectly without going too low. There are many people who are satisfied with the NF's and they seem to fill the gap. For the Df's, they go lower, and you probably will scrape. Mine is a daily driver, but other than steep driveways/dips, I don't scrape.
I mainly went with Df's cause I like being LOWW! I will switch to coilovers when the time comes.

No prob..., my 1st gen was dropped on Goldlines and I was rolling on 17's. The drop looked sweeeet, but....it was really rough on bumpy roads. I eventually swapped the wheels out to 15's to get more sidewall on the tire.
When I got the '09, I wanted a smoother ride so I went with a more moderate drop: NF210s.
They are great for a daily, especially if you're dealing with rough roads. Not as low and agressive as DF210, but they work for me.
Good luck.
BTW - when you're making the wheel choice make sure to check with Cionide so your offset is perfect.

I just got my Tanabe DF210's in today and they'll be installed tomorrow. I found them on for Advance Speed Shop (http://www.advancespeedshop.com) for $172.50 + $22 for shipping. Best price I could find.
