Wow. Ok...lots of options out there. Call a reputable shop and ask questions. First off, try and nail down the wheel you want. Make sure your offset is correct. Do you want to be tucked or flush? Also the easiest drop would be springs. For springs you might want to look at Tanabe nf210 or Tanabe df210. Easy drop with those. Good luck and have fun!

I'd like to go with the flush look

Good choice. You have to settle on which wheels you want first off. Make sure they fit of course. Then call and ask questions. Tell them you want flush.

Food for thought: You might want to drop the car first, that way you'll see how much clearance you'll have to play with.

I was running Monarch Mesh 410 with a staggered fitment.
18x8, 18x9 +35

I decided to can the staggered set up (so I can rotate my tires 😬) and am going to run with Klutch SL14 18x8.5 all around with a +38 offset. Tires will be 225/40/18

With this new set up I'll be flush with a slight stretch on the tire to give me better clearance.

See so, things change depending on the wheel you choose.
Call some shops and take your time. The worst thing you can do is rush. When you find someone that will spend time to explain what you need to do to get what you want it'll be worth it.

For 18's I recommend Tanabe DF210. You will get a decent drop with good ride quality.

You're getting good advice.
On my '12 I'm (on my 4th set) running 18x8.5+35 wheels with 225/40/18 rubber un-staggered under TRD springs. 12mm spacers in back for exact hellaflush/stance. While I love the 10%+OEM "spirited-driving" stiffness/handling, and don't hafta worry jack about grounding/hits, I'd love to be 1" lower for look. And with yet conservative drop, 235 rubber would be more RIM-durable because you don't need need my minimal stretch to fit unrolled unless coiled/aired.
