Default Nitrogen filled tires?

How much added benefit will this really give? Worth the price?

Air is already ~70% nitrogen. Just check your tires regularly. Nitrogen is an up-sell to people with vehicles that have overly sensitive TPM Systems that tell say a tire is low due to fluctuations in temperature.

The selling feature of Nitrogen filled tires is that Nitrogen doesn't leak out of the tires as fast as plain air, so tire wear and gas mileage should be improved, but if you check your tires regularly, there will be no benefit.

i call hustle on the nitrogen filled tires. reminds me of my days at toyota when i would tell people they had to change the air in their tires depending on the season. winter air works better in the cold, summer air in the heat. then when they'd look at me wondering if i was serious, i'd tell them i just use all season air that can be bought at any autozone. you'd be shocked how many people actually believed me. it always got a laugh.

That's what I dislike about putting a lot of trust in "professionals", people will believe anything they tell them with out questioning it. Then you get the people you tell the total truth to and it sounds so phenomenal that they think its a lie.

if you're stupid enough to believe it, blame yourself.
