I have a 2015 xB and I bought it with Kraze mags 18in with Calvary UHP tires.
The tires make it sound like the transmission or a wheel bearing is going bad.

Anyone else have noise problems with UHP tires?

Lots of UHP tires are noisy due to the tread block pattern. You would be better off swapping to a less performance orientated tire if you want less noise, or a more expensive brand of UHP.

Not sure where you live and what your tire requirements, but I really like my Hankook S1 Noble2's. As good as grip as the V12's, but significantly quieter and much smoother. Should also last much longer but time will tell (have about 8-10k miles on them so far).

I'm going to say any 'UHP tire' that is sold at Walmart for less than $90 and has a 50,000 mile warranty is NOT...

heh, heh... marketing works!

I'd be lucky to get 10k-miles out of set of treadwear-100 tyres.
