PM me with the color of your xB2, the manufacturer & type of wheel you're looking at, as well as these specs, the drop you're on (or planning on) and the tires you want to put on. That way I can guide you toward what will work & what won't.

I checked that site out lastnight as I stated in another thread...What im wondering, and I'm not meaning to threadjack here, just want to learn and maybe some others can learn as well. I have an '08 xB with the Tanabe DF210 I believe, the lowest ones, lol. Well I saw andrenas with the 17x9s with a +19offset, being on TRD springs its not too low and wouldnt rub too much...Well i found several sets of those wheels in 16s and some staggered. Examples of some bbs i found were:
16x8+42 16x9+40
16x7+45 16x8+45
16x7+33 16x8+33
Then some non-staggered bbs rs were 16x7.5+14...
I also saw some abc exclusives for a good deal and they were sittin at
18x9+38 & 18x10+38, which i think are Neeks sizes...But I am new at the whole offset thing and i am pretty low...I went though some of this on my 1st gen with s-techs and axis OG RacerXs, but i still dont know enough...Thankyou so much to everyone for the patience and help, and sorry for the horibble long threadjack, lol.
EDIT: I am aware of fender rolling and should have had my 1st ones rolled, just wondering what could fit with what tires, stretched im sure, and just how much some of you have rolled...I'll have more questions as these get answered, LOL

Here is some general info on the wheel specs you posted (compared to the stock steelies), as well as tire size recommendations that are based on not rubbing with the DF spring drop. The tire sizes are on the conservative side, so you could probably go slightly wider if you're OK with fender rolling/pulling.
16x8+42 16x9+40: front wheel lips 7/8" closer to outer edge of fenders, rear wheel lips 1.5" further out. Tires: 225/50 front, 235/50 or 245/45 rear.
Analysis: wheels most flush.
16x7+45 16x8+45: front wheel lips 1/4" closer to outer edge of fenders, rear wheel lips 3/4" further out. Tires: 225/50 front, 245/50 rear.
Analysis: wheels least flush.
16x7+33 16x8+33: front wheel lips 3/4" closer to outer edge of fenders, rear wheel lips 1.25" further out. Tires: 205/55 front, 225/50 rear.
Analysis: wheels almost as flush as 16x8 +42 16x9 +40, but lower offsets require more stretch to tires; therefore, they look less aggressive & put less meat on the road. This combo would, however, be the lightest weight.
The 18x9+38 & 18x10+38 would definitely need stretched tires:
something like 225/40 front, and 235/40 or 245/35 rear.
These are all general tire recommendations. Once you've decided on exactly what wheels you want, you can post the specs and get better recommendations based on people who are running the same (or very close) specs.

hmm. Thank you very much, sir! So would there be a even better size to go with as far as flush on the 16s? The first wheels sizes listed you said would be most flush, and the DF is alot lower than the TRD as andreon has. The wheels are at a good deal to, and lookin to go JDM VS. Chinese made, lol.Thankyou again cionide I'm always learning, offsets are like algebra to me, i get very lost, lol.Speaking of which andreons 17x9 are only a +19 offset and they looked loke they were pokin a bit...oh yeah the smaller the number the further out the wheel

jdmtoybb, we can bang on the keyboard for days, and keep thread jacking, but that won't give you the info you need quickly & concisely. I hope the info I provided on this off sets thread might help others also, but I'm going to PM you with my cell # so that I can understand exactly what you're going for and help you more directly.

My wheel spec as follows
front: 18x9 + 15 on a 215/40/18 tire
Rear: 18x10.5 +30 on a 225/40/18 tire
Rolled fenders and I still rub hard everyday daily driven over 100 miles a week. I am millimeters away from tire to fender and the littlest dips I rub hard.
I would not recommend it if you have people riding in your car, because no person can sit in the back seat of mine or else I will rub the whole time driving. Only a cute Japanese girl in the front seat..lol
