The color is "black chrome" which is a two step process. I had them use a matte clear, instead of the typical 110% gloss. They almost feel like they are coated with teflon.

I had them done locally by bonehead performance. He charges $120 per wheel for the two step (base/clear) colors. Having them done locally saves big money in shipping, and this guy does excellent work. I don't think I am allowed to post the link, but you can look him up. He has a web-site.

im here in co there is a big powder coating place they told me 60 a wheel basic mat bronze with teflon in it for easy cleaning

Sounds like an ecellent price to me. Bonehead varies the price depending on the wheel, and the color. He actually did a sample of this color for me, to make sure it was what I wanted before doing my wheels. He had used the color before, but never with the matte clear coat.

yeah i just decided to leave them the stock color for now till this fall then get them done

I actually ran mine for 8 months, and then put the stock wheels on for the winter. Once it got warm, I had them coated, and put them back on. The black and polished look good on your ride.
