Default second time around on Enkei RS7. Offset question....

So I just picked up an '08 XB as a commuter car. I previously had the same car and at that time had put some 18" Enkei RS7's on it. I really liked the look of this rim and they are pretty light.

I am going to buy another set of RS7's and I can't remember the offset I had before. They have them in +35 and +45. I don't want any poke at all and would even prefer a bit of tuck to avoid curb rash. I just don't want them to be super sucked inside. I am on a stock suspension and don't plan on lowering. I *think* I want to go with the +45 (the pic below looks like +45 to me if I am understanding things correctly) but wanted to double check here first for feedback. According to fitment guides I should be able to use either. I'm not really well educated on offsets and I did search the forums but wanted some additional feedback on the specific differences in the setup for my purposes.

I haven't bought tires yet so I am flexible on this aspect of things. Here is a pic of my previous setup.

are you aware of the width of the rim. i think the stock rim is a +38 or +32 on a 7.5 width, either way you should be tucking for days unless its a 10in wide rim

The stock 16" alloy wheels are 16 x 6.5. Not sure of their offset. These are 18 X 7.5. When I look in the pics I provided of my last XB, which is also on 18 X 7.5, they don't look very tucked to me....

Again, I'm not a wheel and tire guru and perhaps there is no real simple answer to which offset I should go with. I have also sent a note off to the person who installed my last set to see if they can dig up what I went with before. I bought from edge racing last time and those guys appear to be out of business...

With that narrow of a wheel, 7.5, you'd be fine with either offset. I'd opt for the +35, though.

You realize that the width and offset aint guna help u avoid curb rash. Lol.

Just do a 8" wide wheel with a high 30 offset
