Default thinking of getting new wheels.

ive been thinking of getting new wheels and need some help.
i'm thinking xxr 521 in 18x8.5 but i dont know what offset to get. i'm on nf210 and want to get as close to flush as possible without the need for rolling the fenders. advice?

18x8.5 +40 with 225/40-18 tires will be almost dead flush up front. Add 10mm rear spacers to get the rears close to flush like the fronts. If you go with +30 offset then the fronts will poke, and you will definitely rub over any bumps or dips with the soft NF spring rates unless you run stretched tires.

Here's the same set-up on H-Tech springs:

The only offset I've seen the 18x8.5 gold in is +25 (exclusive to NL Motoring), which will rub heavily with 235/40 tires on the soft NF springs. Even the 18x8.5 +30 or +35 (not sure which offset what they come in) in black with polished lips will rub up front on 235/40-18 tires.

Staggered with these wheels is not an option, because 18x10 +25 (the only staggered set-up offered that I know of) will not only rub, they will cut down the rear 235/40-18 tires on NF springs.

Keep pumping me with info, and I'll keep responding with input. You might want to forward this thread to Pasquale since he has personal contacts at XXR, to see what their response is in regard to wheel sizes & offsets that are available that I might not be aware of.
