Default Tire pressure help

Hi guys,
I am new this this forum, and I hope that you could answer my question:

I've been driving my new 2008 xB for a few months now. During the past month or so, my tire pressure sensor light has gone off about once weekly, and my the pressure of my rear tires have consistently dropped from 32psi to 25psi within each one week.
Is this normal? Or is there anything wrong with my rear tires? But if they have holes, wouldn't it take them only a day or two to be deflated?
Thanks, guys!

They shouldn't be losing pressure so fast, but don't rule out any "holes" because it could possibly be a very slow leak. It's odd that it's both rear tires though.

Check if it's covered under warranty. If it is then take it to the dealer. Otherwise any tire shop will charge you a small fee to check for leaks/patch the tires. Last time I did this it cost $10 for the patch.

Squirt some soapy water all over it, and see if it bubbles anywhere especially around the valve stem. if you do have a small leak you will have to watch it really closely, check the inside and the outside, if you ever hit anything (pot hole or something in the road) you could have a pair of bent rims thats causing the leak too.

I was going to suggest that, I once had a cracked rim, it kept leaking but the tire checked out fine every time. What a pain...
