Default wheel adapter questions.

So im going to be using a set of oem wheels off a 2007 tc on my 08 xb (i really have no other option at this point) and im going to have to use wheel adapters so they'll fit.

Are there any mechanical dangers of using adapters on my car ? It is a daily driver, and ive heard that using wheels adapters can damage the bearings ?? Any truth to that ? Or would they be ok to install and use on a daily basis ?

If they weren't safe, they wouldn't make them. Get some from a reputable company that are hubcentric and billet aluminum. Adaptec makes a great set, but you'll have to spend a little bit.

Spacers/adapters can wear your bearings out prematurely, but the same can be said about wheels with the same effective offset.
