on my xB. I have a spare set of tires that I'd like to use.

Once again, here's the tire & wheel calculator:

Keep in mind that the stock tires are 205/55x16" with +45 offset

You will obviously need 17" wheels for the tires you're talking about. Need to know the wheel size/offset to know if it will work for sure, but those size tires are fine.

The 235/45 is about 1/2" larger in overall diameter, and will affect the speedometer:
When speedometer reads 60mph actual speed will be 61.1mph: 1.8% faster.
