How do you take off bumper to 2012 XD?

 

Well, open the hood and find the push lock pins that are holding hood up and pull them out. Next wheel wells have twist lock pins then look under bumper from bottom. There are about 6 or so screws take them out and be careful that you got them all and we should pop off. Very easy

 

The reason I ask is so I can take out the black plastic covers under the headlight in the bumper

 

Yeah I did the same thing and painted mine. Once you pull the bumper off they have slot clips to hold the grille and lower grille on. I'll try to get a pic posted.

 

Check and see if this works.

 

Hi BMoney, I cant seem to take off the bumper even with your help. Is there any DIY available online that you know of, or can you help me out with some pictures to aid me through the process? Any help would be appreciated!

Did you get all the push lock pins out and the bolts? The whole bumper should just pop off you might have to pull a bit by the headlights they are clipped it at the head light.

 

I think my main problem is not knowing which pins are which. Do u mind taking a picture of the push lock pins at the top, the twist locks behind the fender, and the bolts underneath? Im just not sure if I am taking out the right pins and bolts
