Default De-badging the xD

So, taking the badges off was actually a LOT easier than I thought. Soapy water, goo-gone, a heat gun and 5 minutes later; no badge no goo.

The xd logo was perfect. Looks like it never existed. But when I de badged the scion logo off my trunk I ran into a problem. -.- I was unaware that the emblem has 2 pins that slip onto 2 sockets on the trunk. I put it back on and heated it back up. But I want it off.

I tried looking up info but it couldnt find anything. What is the best thing to do to get rid of this gray tone. It's not that I don't want it. It just doesn't look right with my color scheme. Do I just paint it the oem car color like ricer civics do?

Another route is the ist emblems? Are they universal as far as sliding into those pins to cover the trunk holes?

Who's delt with de badging and can give advice? :p

Default I have a RS 2.0

I debadged my 09 xD RS 2.0 and replaced the Scion Emblems with black emblems that i found on Ebay.. I warn you, the front has the 2 pin holes as well... Either you go IST, Toyota, or black Scion logos

Certainly I warn you the Logo is too small for the front, you're on your own for that one, unless you paint it but i got links for 2 and 1 black logos, they look sharp.

I just don't wantthe holes to show or water to get inside the hood frame.

I debadged mine, then thought they would look better back one, but black.

Can DerekMansur or someone clarify the rear emblem placement: is it a simple peel and stick? looking at this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/SCION-TC-XB-...sories&vxp=mtr

i also want a front Logo. thx....

Looks like http://www.ebay.com/itm/SCION-TC-XB-...90930295227999

has a size of 4.75 x 3.25" listed. is that for the front size or the rear?
