Default dent ding in passenger door.

so i come out from the store.. and i find a ding in my passenger door panel. i;ve been looking around to figure out what i should do. i could call a repair guy who could POSSIBLY fix it for like 60$. or i can try the dry ice method of removing the dent. or should i try the hair dryer plus CO2 approach. please any advice on this matter would be GREATLY appreciated. share me your experiences and knowledge on this matter. what should i do?

I don't think that method works on our doors. I tried it and it didn't :/ But maybe I didn't get it hot enough? Maybe I didn't get it cold enough? I used dry ice instead using an upside down air duster can. I tried both a hair dryer and the aluminum foil + lighter method. Maybe I needed a heat gun and the air duster?

I have never had any luck with the dry-ice technique. I have used the paintless dent repair companies several times and have always been really happy with the results. Good luck

Paintless dent repair can probably take care of it. If there's a large Scion or other car get-together in your area, have the organizers call up the local dent repair place (like Dent Wizard) and see if they'll come out and do cash-in-hand repairs at a discount. We did that every year for our VW TDI meeting, and they did repairs at half price! A lot of people would end up standing around and watching them work... it's pretty cool.
