Default ist front end parts breakdown

I received an ist front end breakdown from Japan today. The only thing priced was the painted bumper cover at $556 U.S. My guess is over $1000 for all the parts plus shipping.

I'll get a list of part numbers and shipped price. I will imagine it will hurt quite a bit.

In turn, it hurts mine

Oddly enough, a lot of people that would normally get a large vehicle (Camry/Avalon) have been shifting to smaller (read: Fuel Conscience) vehicles and modding a little bit... too bad those 18s and 19s push the mileage back into the high 20s... lol

the 18's only hurt the mileage to a significant degree when the wheel you choose is either significantly heavier than stock or a good chunk wider.

those using 18" wheels that weigh 20lbs or less and are using tires 225 or 215 aren't seeing much of an impact on mileage since overall weight is close to equal equal to stock and width isn't too bad.

my 18's weigh 28.5lbs each with tires that weigh 25.4lbs each so i'm getting murdered - lol

yes for me too i'm in advertising and well that's the first thing companies cut. if i do the conversion one day it may be in the far far future. but definitely want to do this. i know on average to bring just a bumper over looking at 600 in shipping.

the foam behind should still fit.. as my bumper foam still fit in my rumion.. although its a REAL tight fit.. and if you guys want to do the full iSt conversion.. you're looking at about a good 3k.. and tahts only if you want HALOGEN headlights.. HID headlights for the ist will run up the price to about 4.5k JUST for the front replacement..
sucks to have a luxury compact car huh?

oh i just found out.. guestimated price for front bumper is 1.4k w/ foglights without would be 1.2k that doesnt include headlights

by the way, prices for parts in japan have begun to increase, so things will get more expensive. so my source says he cant get those parts for that price for very long. even the rumion parts, so those who are thinking of converting.. should know that in doing so, the price will probably rrise by the time you want to..
