Panted Parts vendor for SCION XD (Front Passenger Fender)
So, it's hot as blazes today, and I ran to Walmart to get some items.
Oops, guy backs out and mashes my front passenger fender in the parking lot, which admittedly has no line of sight.
So, I'm looking for a reliable, quality painted part, as the damage was fixable, no one was hurt, and the guy is willing to pay for it.
(Yes, I had the sheriffs come put the document, but I didn't file a report as the guy was in great fear that he would get his insurance cancelled.
So are there any online parts vendors that sell painted parts anyone has used?
Seems fairly easy to just pop on a new part and be done.

Junkyard or eBay and look for the color you need...most people aren't going to offer pre-painted parts like fenders as they would never match going on a car that has 10+ year old paint. Any decent repair would involve a new part and then 'blending' into surrounding panels to get a match.
Hey Mile Hight C:
Thanks for the response.
Turns out you were right.
The insurance company for the guy who hit me is accepting liability for the damages.
The estimator said exactly what you said, they have to blend paint. and they will be replacing the fender entirely. I guess the old days of Bodo and sanding are largely over.
So, yeah, I guess I got lucky that I didn't self-inflict the damage; otherwise, I wouldn't be near a body shop.
So at least I don't have to sweat and strain through this one myself..
