I have a couple of scratches on my 2012 super white XD, what would be best to cover up the scratches on the paint? The scratches only are about one coat deep

I have a Black Sand Pearl XD and had a whole lot of scratches that the dealer did when they worked on my car's Xmission. The paint shop estimated it at $1024 but I opted to take the money and try fixing it myself. It'd NEVER look the same as factory after being repainted (IMHO) so I got the Maguiars Microfiber buffing kit and buffed the area with my Porter Cable DA buffer using the scratch remover liquid and the red pad, and finished using the polishing liquid and the black pad. You couldn't find the scratches if I told you where to look! It sure was a better choice than painting the hood, and I'm not at all disappointed with the results! Not to mention the extra change in my pocket... :>)
I forgot to mention, it even took out the fine sanding marks that the dealership did trying to hide the damage from me by 2000grit wetsanding.
Good Luck and Aloha!
