I finally figured out my water leak in the hatchback. It's the big hatchback weather strip. I know the car has been repainted so I'm wondering if they reinstalled the original weather strip on the hatchback properly. The weather strip comes from the factory with a section of a lip removed see the accompanying pictures. I reinstalled the original one and used some silicone caulk to get me through these monsoons we've been having until my new one came in. The new weather strip is here. Can you xD owners take a look at your hatchback weather strip and tell me how the weather strip is oriented in the opening I need to know where exactly the Gap needs to be positioned. On mine the weather strip was positioned with the cutout along the top edge.
