Default 145-HP Dyno Graphs

Here is the power graph on the test run on the dual VVTi engine. Stock vs Dynatek Racing intake manifold, air intake, 2.5-inch cat-back and off-road down pipe.

We think we might exceed 150 wheel hp with further testing on the MAF, u-pulleys and a long-tube header. We'll let you know.

I am not sure I understand the question, but we have the car, the dyno and fabrication facilities. making the custom aluminum (tubular) intake manifold and other products is not difficult-just a bit time consuming to make it better than the factory Scion piece. Exhaust was easy, ditto for down pipe, but the air intake was more problematic since it was very sensitive to MAF orientation.

The intake manifold will retail at $699. We do not have exact prices on the cat-back yet, but it will not be a high-cost all-stainless unit like those from Borla or Magnaflow. The off-road down pipe should be around $100. The air intake should be less than $150. We would be open to working with the moderators on a group buy.

I have a Scion Xb as well as the Xd (and a Yaris) and we will be looking into an intake for the 2.4L Xb (and TC) and Yaris as well. We also completed one for the 1.8L Versa as well.

Thanks for the offer, we will let you know if we need to take you up on that. We have the Xb, but there may be differences between the engine bays that dictate different designs for the intake manifold.

I am getting the Xb back from AEM early next week. They are using it to prototype the FIC. I can get started on the Xb (and hopefully TC) intake after that. Will post as soon as we have results.

So what's up with all the interest on this intake?

There are like 5 different threads with hundreds of replys on Yarisworld.com about the Yaris version of the intake...

Don't tell me xD is going to be like xA all over again??
