Excessive Oil Consumption in Corolla's 1.8L 2ZR-FE engine

Hear that the 1.8L 2ZR-FE engine is sucking down oil, wonder if the Xd will?
Anyone hear anything?

havent heard a peep, and my oil was still at the full line when i did the last oil change at 8k miles.

sounds like it may not have made its way into the xDs, but its something to watch for.
