I was just curious if anyone on here has ever replaced their alternator on their own. I was going to do mine today and wanted to get some general advice and/or tips. I downloaded the manual elsewhere on this forum, and it says to remove an engine mount and things. I would rather not have to go through all of that so I was hoping perhaps there is another way?

it does look like it's in a weird spot, you might have better luck with getting it out if you jack up the car and take off a wheel and hit it from underneath. if you try and pull it from the top, you might have to remove more stuff
