How to help your cold air intake??

Yea the covers look great but i would have to put a finer mesh down behind it to keep the small rocks/road debris out. The only concern i have with that is the water.

I've been running this with the injen cai with no problems (except for the hydro shield). The injen intake sits behind the bumper cover. I think with a cold air intake all you have to worry about is submersion, it should be fine as long as you don't get direct water.

^this. unless youre dipping your cai into a puddle of water, the small amount of spray your filter can get wont hurt anything.

Nateson, on the ones from ebay, couldn't i just make a template of the insert go to my local home depot or lowes and get some of this material and then cut according to the template? Instead of spending like $60 just on inserts

Sure, you could do anything you want. The link to the inserts I posted are $25 plus shipping, and have a nice press to them. Then again I remember you were not to happy with the width of the grate gaps. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
