For those requesting the torque spec (very important!!!)

33. INSTALL CRANKSHAFT PULLEY

(a) Align the pin hole in the crankshaft pulley with the pin position and install the crankshaft pulley.

(b) Provisionally install the bolt.

(c) Using SST, tighten the bolt while holding the crankshaft pulley.

SST: 09213-58013

91651-60855

SST: 09330-00021

Torque: 190 N·m (1940 kgf·cm, 140 ft·lbf)

Check the SST installation positions when installing them, to avoid the SST fixing bolts from coming into contact with the timing chain or belt cover sub-assembly.
For those wondering why I didn't jump in on this one: Our project is changing directions. We were originally going full Scion, but we're looking to get a Lexus for auto-x OR the show circuit. Hopefully we find a ridiculous price on a "pre-owned" LS 600hL... LOL.

The xD will just be a pretty daily driver

Default Is it Too Late?

New member here.... Just added the TRD exhaust, awaiting the Fujita CAI which shipped 2 days ago. Have a 2008 xD, custom leather interior, Konig 17" wheels. This sounds like a fun and useful project, is it too late to jump on board?

Hope it's not as I just got in and ordered and paid for one, Blue, figured if you had shut it down, you would have taken down the order link...

Payments must be received by DECEMBER 28 ......
Red and Graphite will be available to purchase by anyone around March or so I believe. NST will probably refund you your money unless your lucky enough for them to pull an extra pulley for you.

Default Hopefully it's my lucky day then...

If not, I'm sure they will refund my money, they seem to be a decent company, and to not refund when you have no intent of supplying a product is still considered theft in every legal jurisdiction I know of, and the sale being on-line would make it a Federal case... He he he... I'm not concerned, just hopeful!

Fo anyone else looking for a Pulley... remember also that there is one NST authorized distributor who purchase 6 pulleys from the Group Buy only to help us make it to the Min number originally requested by NST.

They deserve our support as well..! we would not make it with out them.

So a little free advertizement for:

Microimageonline.com

They will be offereing this pulley right after the Group buy finishes in a couple of weeks!

They will be offered, at least for a little while.

You can join this list by making your payment, as long as the payment page is still available.

If you want an impact wrench but don't want to get into a compressor etc., you can get an electric one relatively inexpensively. (i.e. this Harbor Freight model for $50 or less, as it's frequently on sale). I know it's not a replacement for a high-end air model, as it doesn't have the same torque or RPMs as the nicer "real" ones. But for someone on a budget who needs something for occasional use (like me), it has worked very well.

FWIW, or if you don't have a HF store nearby, here are a few other fairly inexpensive options - might be the same thing in different colors? All have the same amperage rating and similar specs.
green one for $71 shipped
red one for $80 shipped
HTH,
Andy
