Rattle and Grinding Noise under power..
During acceleration there is a rattle grinding noise that is hard to explain sounds like some type of bearing.
The owner before me said that he replaced the axles 2 years ago and the noise went away.
It doesn’t sound like an axle noise that I have ever heard or wheel bearing.
Any help would be appreciated

Same thing here, the inner axel can sound a lot of ways when it goes bad, its not like the outer that pops when you turn. Bought a 09 XD recently and currently have the same grinding noise and the previous owner replaced the axels with cheap replacements and that fixed it for about a year.
i have also heard that it may be possible that worn engine mounts could be causing them to fail faster, don’t know how true that is

If i put it in gear while it is on jack stands and get it up to about 50 mph i can hear the noise. It sounds like it is coming from the drive axle baring in the transmission but could just be resonating from the inner axle…
update, i changed the the driver side axle noise seemed better but after driving for a while it was back to the same sound..
