Default transmission oil or differential oil

had any one change these oil yet?

of course people have changed it. a lot of people use redline tranny oil

Yes i know. it should be listed under the scheduled maintenance in your owners manual. do you have a question about it?

I have changed mine... twice to be exact. I use RedLine MT90, which is the correct spec for our xD's. I used RedLine MTL before, which not the ideal choice, but still within spec. I tow a lot, so I try to use all the best fluids.

Total threadjack but….Is there a write up here for the xD? I know you want to make sure you have access to the fill plug before you drain the oil. Beyond that I’m not sure what I would need to know.

the 2 big 21mm socket where the trans sit. there is a sticker on it too, can't recall what it said though. Bottom one is to drain and top one is to fill. You are going to need a long flexible funnel to fill it back up unless you have a pump.

2 quarts, just fill until it starts to spill out from the top one and you're good to go.
