Got word that Weapon-R is in the middle of production of a xD header... stay tuned!!!

Flange created... just waiting for WR to do the pipes and then get it over for test fit...

 

where did you get this info from? release date, or should i say release year? id be real curious as to what kind of gains they get from this, but i dont think it will be much. hopefully im proven wrong if it ever comes out.

 

No release time stated... not sure of the gains... once it comes in we will get it and dyno test...

 

i will try to make sure i would get that as soon they come out with one. but for now.. not getting my hopes up again . maybe theres a number or email someone can contact and confirm if its true

 

I actually had the time to send an email to the r&d/tech from weapon R. hopefully I get a response tomorrow.

 

Hopefully this won't be a fail like that intake they made for the xD that REDUCED horsepower output...

 

What version of the intake do you have? We are running the short ram and its doing really well for us...

 

I tried the first Weapon R and sent it back it was horrible, now I have the Fujita intake. From what I understand though they pushed the first one out and then did a redesign but I'm not sure how true that is. It may be decent now, but I'm not so sure...

 

They did make a change... did away with double tube design on SRI - using the stock MAF sensor housing... so all you have now is a small tube of metal that meets the filter... Read my review on microcarmag.com.

 

so if you have the one using the stock sensor housings its the old design that reduces power?
