1/0 AWG Pictures
Hey can somebody post up pictures of where you ran 1/0 like where in the firewall you drilled a hole. This is the first time I will have ever drilled a hole on a car so I need any tips or tricks. lol Thanks for your advise/pictures/help!!!

there is a grommet underneath the wiper cowl assembly you can use. THere is a write up on the site somewhere about how to get your dash off to get to it, although you don't need to take your dash off. You will need to remove your wiper cowl assembly but that is pretty easy. Run your wire through that grommet (you can see it in the write up) and you won't have to drill a hole anywhere.
that grommet is large enough unfortunately the wires that go through that grommet take up most of the space cause thats where i ran my previous 4 gauge wire which is much smaller than 1/0
these links should help you how to get the wire through..

lol aint that the truth. ive been looking at several batteries just havent decided on one yet. and ive also been looking for a h/o alternator and all ive found readily available is a 180 amp alt.
Go with kinetik audio!!!! they are friggin awesome batteries. Im using one for my two amps.
why the shocking question about 1/0awg? lol all i gotta say is use a good name brand (stinger, kicker, jl audio) to be a true 1/0awg

what shocking question are you talking about? and yeah im using stinger 1/0. thought about kinetik but they are damn proud of them batteries so im looking at other options in a more reasonable price range
Im in AZ and this heat (espcially inside a car) is just hell on any battery really. I got about 2 years out of a kinetik battery( i also shorted it, oops) So I find them a good investment, and the rest of the cars electrical system doesn't even know the amps are there after installing this battery.
