did anypne receive an owners manual for the audio system - according to my owners manual there's a separate manual just for the audio system but I didn't receive it and my salesman is telling me it does not exist

 

Mine is a 2008 and I did get one, but I also have the navigation system and it mostly relates to that.

 

yea its suppose to be included. but ive things disapear alot over the time.

^^LMAO yea. its like the other day i heard that another dealer whom i wont name by us charges the customer for the ipod cord and aux cord like as an acces..

 

wow....way to milk your authority dry....that's messed up. it's like giving someone a brand new t.v., but no remote.

 

When I picked up my xD, the radio manual and the cardboard blank was in the door pocket on the passenger side. They probably sat there and installed it then just tossed the stuff in the pocket when the job was done. You might want to check with the service manager and see if they have any of them sitting around.

I have to say that I've been pretty happy with my dealership (Koons Toyota/Scion in Annapolis, MD). They were very helpful and seemed concerned about what I wanted. The salesman remembered me and my fiancee every time we stopped by, and remembered exactly what I was looking for. He went out of the way to get me the car I wanted. It sucks that there are bad dealerships out there... but I guess you're going to find that in any retail situation.

Wow, that is shady. I thought they couldn't do stuff like that, but maybe they can?

 

they are not supposed to. they can get in serious trouble for ripping people off like that.

 

I have 2 scion cars - be happy to send the extra one (assuming it is for the base radio?)
