Default Factory Armrest removal

Hi folks,

I am planning on installing the isotope cage bushings on my new xD. I had the factory armrest installed prior to taking delivery (before I found out about this site). I have sniffed around it a few times and can't seem to find out how it comes off so I can gain access to the original rear cup holder bolt. Does anyone know how this arm rest comes off/installs? I checked TRD sparks and they don't have a pdf. I feel it should be real simple, I'm just missing it. Thanks much.

1.remove the rear cup holder bolt.
2.twist off the shift ****/remove the boot as well
3.pull out the interior pieces there should be two. the smaller piece bordering the shift boot and the other piece that goes around the cigarette lighter. dont worry they are pretty sturdy and won't break. give it a good yank
4.as you remove the pieces, bolts/nuts will be revealed -- unscrew them
5.now you can pull out the center console and install your bushings! tell me how you like them

This is the bolt I have been trying to get to in the first place. Unfortunately, the factory armrest sits in this cup holder with its own cup holder built in aft of the original center console cup holder. I've been looking for a bolt that goes through the whole armrest assembly into the rear cup holder's original bolt location but have yet to see it. To be honest, I haven't really looked around the sides of the armrest to see if it is possibly anchored to the seat rails, and just sits in the original rear cup holder without any hardware.

Is your armrest like the ist one that has a metal bracket that bolts to the seat track (or near it)?

Here's the scoop:
1. Lift the Armrest to access the storage compartment below it.

2. Remove the 4 small phillips (+) screws in the 4 corners of the
Compartment assembly. You can see them when you lift the armrest.

3. Lift out the storage compartment with the armrest to expose the
mounting screw that is in the original cupholder area that has a
ground washer near the edge of the cavity. It's a 10mm cap screw.
Sometimes an installer would replace the felt disk that covers the
bolt and washer, so try lifting out the felt disk. Remove the bolt.

4. Lift the entire armrest out of the console and proceed with whatever
you're planning to do.

Simple, uh?

The armrest is this one. I ordered it with my new 2010 xD. I believe TRDsparks sells the same one of course for much less than I paid (though I did get 2009 pricing b/c the dealer's computers weren't updated w/2010 prices yet That's why I checked their site first hoping to find an installation .pdf

I'm actually on a 4-day trip for work so I won't be able to go out and look at my car until tomorrow. Maybe then I'll stumble on how to get the thing off. It certainly doesn't feel very secure. I wouldn't dare put any of my body weight on it given how much it moves when I grab it and shake it a little. Works perfect for my arm though.

OK now I found it. In short: Yes it is this kind, though I ordered it from scion not knowing any better. I didn't have the seats far enough forward to see this. The armrest just sits in the cupholder (original bolt for center console is untouched) with metal brackets that slide under the rear of the front seat track when the rear track bolts are loosened. I also discovered that when the port installed this armrest, one side was left completely unsecured (WTF!) which was why it felt so unstable. I re-secured it and now the armrest is much more solid. I like it. No console, but a perfect height for my frame.
