Default Hiding the HID ballasts

Ok, so I installed mobileHID's and there was nowhere in the xD engine bay to hide these things because it's so damn packed...I like things to be clean and uncluttered...So I took off the front bumper and found some great spots to put them...Sure it takes a little longer but well worth it in the long run...

Hey Sub...how difficult was the bumber removal? I think that is a good idea for hiding the ballast. I assume its necessary to get the lamps adjusted properly too. Did you aim you light inward or just down? How much adjustment did you have?

Hey cuball, I have taken the bumper off atleast 3 times now and each time it gets easier and easier...Since mine has the body kit, mine may be a bit more difficult than the non-lip kit xD's but i'm not 100 % sure since i've never done a stock one...And I did not adjust my headlight beams at all and have only been flashed once...BTW, I'm running the 6k...

stock bumper is fairly easy. i think there's 4 grommets on top under the hood, 2 grommets and 2 "screw" grommets in the wheel well, and 2 hex head screws holding on the bottom under the splash guard.

There is no drilling involved...As for the brand, I was sponsored by MobileHID but they no longer make HID kits for automobiles...Just order the kits from hidextra on here...Again, I like the 6K ones and I got the bi-xenon ones...Hi/low beam HID kit...

JJ

It seemed like you were having a lot of quality control issues with your HIDExtra kit. How has all of that gone?
