Default How do you remove the A-pillar?

Pretty self explanatory. I need to run a cable up to the top of the A-pillar for my Avic microphone. I saw somebody had it run up there and I'm wondering how exactly do you get the A-pillar off? I pulled at it and it came off a bit but it looks like I'd have to remove the entire dash to get it off. There also looked like there's a little plastic latch that I'd have to clip off before I can remove it.

Any help would be appreciated.

theres no reason to remove the whole thing just to get that wire up there. Just pop it off enough to get the wire behind it and then you can run the wire down the weather stripping on the side and under the dash to the radio. this is what i did with that setup and it works well. I also did that with the wires from my visor monitors.

You can grab that clip with a set of needle nose pliers and turn it up or down 90 degrees and you'll be able to get the A-pillar off. Just pul it away from the clip, then away from the dash.

Yeah, I managed to just fish the wire down there in the end. It kept getting caught up on a piece of that insulation material when I first attempted it so I just used a fish tape and got it through.

Thanks folks.
