Well I got my car back from Todd (turbotoyotas) a couple weeks ago so that I could let a few more of my sponsors do their thing to the xD while waiting on getting the turbo done. So over the last couple weeks, I've meet up with Randy (RANDODE) and he has worked his magic on the xD...Were not done because we ran out of time...But we did manage to swap out some of the gauge LED's to blue...We left the RPM's in the speedo alone and traded the speed ones from white to blue... Then he changed out the gas gauge, trip/mileage gauge, the clock, and the radio display...Next he added LED's to the cup holders and put in cold cathodes under the dash and seats...Turned out AWESOME....

We also added LED's to the engine bay and have some cold cathode tubes that will eventually light up the front grill and intercooler but the cathodes are not hooked up yet until after the turbo is done...The LED's light up the engine bay nicely...

Randy also worked his vinyl magic and added my sponsors to my ride...We decided to put them down on the side skirts which I think is very clean and un-cluttered...We did them in black and silver...

I want to thank Randy for the sponsorship and taking the time to install this stuff...As usual, his work is meticulous...What you can't see is that when we had the front bumper off we hid the ballast for the HID kit so they are hidden, as well as all the wiring for the LED and cold cathode tubes... Very clean install! I can't get any good pic's of the HID's that MOBILEHID sponosred and i'm waiting on someone with a good camers and a tripod to take pics for me...

Hard to capture the blue in the speedo because it is SO bright...







Don't mind the MPG, I just filled up and only drove like a mile...AVG'ing 32-33MPG

i know it's a little old, but how did you change the clock color? did you change the A/C control colors, too?

i imagine he did a led swap on it. prob did the airbag/seatbelt ones to since he was already in there. i did the same and swapped a bunch of my indication lights in my cluster.

dang, i wish i knew how to even get to them, i'd do it myself. But pulling the dash apart is not in my repertoire, or expertise level.
