Can someone please tell me if I can add a Scion OEM Navigation unit to my 2009 XD that has a regular factory radio, or do I have to buy added parts and antennas, etc to install? I read that they are plug and play, but want to be sure before I drop the $$ on one. Thanks in advance

if you buy it from scion or someone that is gonna sell you the whole package then it does come with everything that is needed... The only extra thing that you really need is the GPS antenna and it should come with it.

yah if you buy it from the dealer it will come with everything you need.... but its gonna be pricey.. you are probably better looking at other eclipse units... that will be plug and play with the toyota harness in the xd.... no splicing... just plug everything in and run the navi antenna and you good to go

This is true! Eclipse is better and about half the price of the factory nav.
I had the AVN5435 in my tC and loved it.
I have however moved onto Pioneer since then, but the Pioneer does involve creating and creating a new harness to plug into the stock harness.
You cant go wrong with Eclipse though. Awesome sound quality and a decent navigation.
