Remove these on steering wheel?

Remove these on steering wheel?

How the hell do you remove these plastic suckers off the steering wheel? I've tried pulling them, and nothing. The rest of the trim in the xd just pops off. Is there an easier way, or am I just being stupid?

I know it's possible. I gotta get them off because I'm getting them painted at Maaco. I know it's held on by screws, I just gotta figure out how to get to them exactly

Trd sparks sells a sporty wheel upgrade, and on that page is a PDF that shows how to install the new wheel. If you look through the PDF, it may help you out. Here's the link.

no i meant like taking those off would be like taking the fenders off and rolling like that. u'll see that gap. but good call nation

Well, I'm getting my car repainted, and having them paint those while they are at it. Same color as my stripe. He just said I have to take all the parts I want painted off myself. So I needed to know x]
