Hi,

I've been doing some research on getting satellite radio in my 2009 XD, and I'm not quite sure what I need to get it working. some sites have made it sound like it'll work fine once I sign up, and others make it sound like I need to buy a special tuner for it. Some of these have said the tuner isn't compatible with the stock stereos. I'm not clear on what types of satellite radio might be supported by default even if it is available as it is now. My husband has Sirius in his jeep, which I like, but I heard they merged so I'm not sure if one type is better over the other now.

I have a 2009 XD with the upgraded stereo (Pioneer premium audio, it looks like this: http://dealer.webmakerx.net/Images/P...m_audio(1).jpg).

Does anyone know if this supports satellite radio, or if I need to buy special parts for it?

thanks in advance. I feel dumb asking this, but the information I'm finding is so conflicting so I'm hoping someone here may have already run into this.
