I have a 2009 lightly used, around 13,000 miles on it.

I got in it and put in the key, started er up, expecting the radio to turn on as well. And got no radio. Radio's the stock basic version with built in single disc player.

Never had any issues with the car before. Anyone have any idea why the radio no longer powers up?

mainboard on the radio might have failed, happens sometimes. if you can pull it out of the xD, and try hooking it up to another scion if you got a buddy who drives one too. if you don't, just take it up to the dealership and they can test it out for you

Yup, turns out I've got a dead radio.

I think I just found a reason to get a good navi system.
