Default Strange sub wiring question

I have a box with the amp attached. I would like to be able to remove it quickly to haul cargo but not have a hot battery and remote flopping around.

Is there a such thing as a quick connect for rca's/B+/ground/remote?

Thanks, Eric

RCA's I would already consider quick connect, and you can do a quick connect for the Sub to Amp easily with connectors built into the box. Would also be easy to make one for the remote wire. Power and Ground would be much harder unless you are using a small gauge.

the rcas will be fine, as will the ground. its the hot remote and power that you have to worry about to aviod blowing fuses and melting the wiring. if you did the wiring right all your lines have spade connectors on them. they're about as close to quick disconnects as ur gonna get for 4 gauge wire. i'm in the same situation (infinity bass link powered sub) so i got rubber tubing to fit over the power wire from the h/w store. was a hair too big for the power wire so i put an xtra layer of heatshrink over connector so when i slid tubing over connector it stays on its own. same thing with remote line. hope this helps.

That's a good idea with the tubing. I saw a jon boat that had quivk connects wired to the battery.

My amp actually will not accept a spade connector btw

I have heard people using the quick connect for snow plows on pickup trucks for the amp.
I have never seen it in person, just heard about it.

It can be bought here http://www.hifisoundconnection.com/S...id/0/SFV/30046.

It is called a high amperage quick disconnect, this one is made by Stinger, there are other manufactures available which are all as good as the other.
