One minor thing that I noticed about the Ist version that I think would bother me (light repeated nagging) is that it slightly covers that little slot next to the hand brake. That slot currently is sooo perfect for my sirius radio remote, and blocking a minor part of that may not allow my remote to fit anymore. It's not a big deal, but I think it would slowly eat at my mind.

Also, I like the price point of the Zeta version without having to deal with foreign shipping.

I've been studying this and I think I may be ordering my Zeta armrest... one year with nowhere to rest my arm has been far too long.

And maybe we should support an American economy just a little bit by helping the little guy here.

As far as the pocket by the e-brake is concerned, yea it is a bit of a bummer that is is covered up by the armrest, but I never used it in the first place.

Why not put the remote on your visor, if its clip-able?

It's not clippable. I'm pretty much sold on the zeta model anyway.

So just wondering, do you have to drill a hole into the center console in order for it to be considered stable? I'm referring to the Zeta armrest. I just placed an order for one off of ebay.

The screws are used to keep the armrest from "spinning" in the cup holder. They do not add any extra stability.

I used velcro instead of a screw. Seems to be holding up fine for me.

I just received it and its great, I just wished the top slid out like my gf's armrest does in her 2DR Altima Coupe. 5th gear its sorta out of my reach to rest on the armrest but all in all after driving for a few miles, its basically what I wanted. I also like the fact that you can use the space between the plate and the bottom as a sort of secret compartment :D

And I second Danno's request, I would buy headlight projectors in a second!
