xD headrest removal question
Ok, i don't know how many of you have seen this, but when i was looking at the xD i was also looking at the honda fit, and the fit had this neat featur that you could slide the seat all the way up, remove the headrest and lay the back of the seat down so it forms kind of a lounge. and i know that the xB you can do this as well, but on the xD i can't seem to remove the headrest so that when the seat lays down it's a smooth transitions from the back seat to the front seat.
When i try to remove the headrest it dosen't seem to want to come out of the holes in the top of the seats. any help would be great, thank you.

There is hole on the side of the slot where the headrest slides into that you can insert a tool to remove it. I believe it is in the owners manual. Because the xD has active head restraints (meaning they move up and forward if you are rear ended) they are locked into the seat. If you press your hand really hard at the bottom of the seatback just where the bottom cushion meets, and press back, you will see the headrest move up. It's a mechnical system.
