I'd put money down if I were you to hold it for you. When I say every dealer is out, I called about 10 dealers all around houston area and down and north... none. One just got a lava in, but I went to another one to have a lava one come in with the radio already installed (upgraded) so I can get that for same price. hah!

 

Just looked at the seattlescion.com site and they have an inventory of 99 Scion's and 46 of those are xD's. You just live in the wrong area. Or, maybe there's something wrong with Scion's I just haven't heard about yet. Hmmmmm?????

its weird. i searched through all the corporate scion sites. all that is ocming up is 08 colors. and just infromation on the release series xd1.0. anyone else? bc id like to know lol. im sure people will ask that soon with the xb gettin a new color

eh its weird holding back the 09 xds and info like this. u never know they might do what they did with the xb and discontinue the blue and make stingray. but yea i hope if they add another color they keep all of the old ones too

 

Hmmm well I searched 09 colors in another configuration program and it looks like they are all the same...... odd

 

Stingray is a nice color, but it is just another member of the gray family, which they already have 2 of. Would really like to see it in BBC.

As for holding back the '09's I'm getting real sick of waiting. And, I think that seattlescion.com site is full of cr*p when it shows they have so many Scion's in inventory. I bet that's how many they got in originally and have never updated their site.

 

Dealership just informed me that the 08's are basically gone (they have a white one on the lot, but not my cup of tea)... they will put in an order for my 2009 xD on the 15th of the month and it should be in around the 1st of August.

 

Ya, the dealer near me is out of them also, but that seattlescion.com site still shows they have 49 of them. Gee, maybe if you contact them, they could ship what you want to the dealer near you.

 

Unfortunately, its about 3000 miles from Seattle to Buffalo. so I think shipping is out of the question.

I'm content to wait... if I really wanted one right away, they had a perfectly nice white one on the lot that I test drove (it seriously made the fit feel like I was driving a golf cart). I'm gonna hold out for a blue or gray one.

The funny thing is that I'm originally from WA state, have lived in Puget Sound area before... wish I could go get one of their rides. The next 3 weeks are going to kill me... must exercise patience.

 

Just found out that Seattle dealer has NO xD's left either. Just keeps showing they have 49 (+/-) on their website. I'll deal with somebody else.
