18x8.0 wheels
Springs do not matter. Wheel travels in the same path regardless of springs and goes inside the fender in a sharp enough turn or with some load in the back of the car. In any case you don't want the tire to touch the fender, especially in a sharp turn.
18x8 should fit, I'd keep offset to 45, though, and even that might be a tad risky.
I have 18x7.5 / 42 offset and a 5mm spacer in the back - and it's very close. Front would've been even closer if I had spacers there.
