I don't like the idea of adding $720 to the price and including stock scion alloy wheels for a special edition car, that's not even trying to make it unique.

But hey, if you want the stock 16 alloys, scion does distribute the RS with em if the dealer asks for em. The RS1 that we sold had the alloys when it came off the truck.

Well you have to remember, what else can Scion do to actually make the car unique and mass produce it? Its not like they are making "one-off" cars right now. I am glad the stock wheels come with the RS. They make great winter tires and its motivation for me to buy something unique. OK great Scion buys 2000 navigation units and installs them, but I really doubt they are getting that great of a deal from Pioneer to really drop the cost.

There's really nothing wrong with the RS series. People just like to pick it apart because its not coming with the accessories that they want. Judge the car for what it is and not what you want it to be. If you don't like it, then oh well.

Lets take the RS1 xD for example, and see if it was really worth the $2000

Hot Lava Paint (extra 700 which is the standard for a 3 stage paint from the factory)
DAMD Lip Kit (800 installed and painted)
Color Tuned Interior FABRIC and BEZEL
Spoiler (350)
TRD Springs (200)

So IMO, that RS series was worth it

probably very similar or a bit lighter.

and the 6U6 is the jasper pearl on the camry:

my guess is it'll be a hue in between those two, while not too much different than the 6U6.
6U4 is olive mist metallic so don't plan on it being any brighter than what you see on that camry. good job scion corp.

They're just reusing the RS3.0 xB green and callin it "Wicked Wasabi". Definitly nothing special.

Scion still can't get it through their dense heads to offer at least a purple RS..... The IST in Japan comes with a very nice shade, not that hard to offer it for our market.

The only thing that bothers me about the RS cars is it's liek Scion is just throwing something together and putting a badge on it. Scion needs to do like what they need on the RS 1 tc. It had wheels you could not just got to the dealership and buy which made it more unique. I am sure people would pay more for the RS cars if they were truly unique. I believe they started to go in the right direction with the RS 1 xd. When someone goes to buy a RS car they look for something different. So why not put a crazy body kit, in dash dvd player and tvs in it.

Ok....They add a smidge more black paint into the mix, or a tiny change in the metallic content and call it "different"....just like they did with reusing the orange color for the RS1.0. or for their regular silvers...... lol. They're still reusing the same color, and I'm sure they aren't going to do anything else to the car to make it worth the premium price.
