so i have replaced all of my lights (yes all) with LED. Shortly after buying the car from someone, I noticed there were was a tiny bulb below each headlight but not working. I couldnt find any definite solution as to what they are but I replaced them with LED also just for them to still not work.

Finally after installing the resistors so my turn signals weren't in hyper flash anymore I decided to flip the polarity on the small bulbs and now they're working!

I haven't had the chance to use them during the day yet but so far I've noticed they turn on when my parking lights turn on and stay on with the headlights.

I dont see anything in the owners manual & i cannot find any ambient sensor that would indicate day from night for them to work automatically.

are these aftermarket headlight assemblys?
