why on the main scion xd page the engine code is called a 2rzfe but when you google 2rzfe it's a tacoma engine? where's the typo?

 

to my knowledge the Xd has the corollas 1zz in it, not the tacoma motor.

 

The xd has the 2zrfe engine in it.

the corolla doesn't even have the 1zz in it lol

 

98-00 corolla i blieve was a 1zz. my friend had it in high school

 

looking at the ist catalog, they list option 1-1.8 2ZR-FE Dual VVTI or option 2-1.5 1NZ-FE VVTI

 

98-08 corolla had the 1zz

09 corolla has the 2zrfe

 

we're talking domestically here.

 

Yea I think everything up until 08 or so had a 1zz in it. I know my matrix had it and that was a 03
