I've looked at dealer inventories and don't really see manuals. Is there some reason they only order auto's?

Call the dealers around you and see if they have one in stock or if one is coming in. They might be nice enough to even tell you which dealer in your area has a manual. It's not that hard to find one if you're serious about it.

 

The stupid dealer told me that people are lazy now days and don't want drive the stick.I almost punched him in the jaw! :') There is less of them than the automatics at least here in FLorida. When I got mine it was the only manual on the lot. I guess they go with the demand? If I waited for the color I wanted( dark grey manual) it would take the minum 5mo, so I got the black one.

 

I know when my friend bought his xA he had to special order the manual. I got lucky; the first dealer I called had a black 5 speed.
