Default accessories

I'm looking a getting an xd and thru my credit union I can get $500 off or that much in accessories. How hard is it to install the accessories, ie arm rest, overhead Console Box, or the Illuminated Door Sill Protector? Which I can purchase online cheaper than the dealer prices.

Thanks

Well, the center console should be no problem at all, like a couple of bolts I think. I personally went with a $10 black couch pillow in microfiber from walmart for my roadtrip arm rest... I shove it between the seats on top of the Ebrake and it works really well actually. You can scoot it forward or rearward depending on your style. It's also really comfortable and a whole lot cheaper. I'd take the $500 and bye the stuff elsewhere. I can't stand stand Dealerships. I never go back unless there's a warranty item or something.

if you go to www.trdsparks.com and look up the item there should be instructions on installing all the items. i think its pretty easy cept the ones that include wiring.. i suck at electrical stuff

and the overhead console takes commitment as you will have to cut your roof liner. so if you commit to this it's all or nothing.

yeah...that's the unfortunate part of it. but it's well worth it. i'd do it if i weren't so cheap with interior mods. lol

illuminated door sills are EASY to install, as is the arm rest. you COULD go with the pillow idea if you want (pretty clever) and still have 490. but if you want somthing official then just get it off TRDSparks because the iSt armrest is quite expensive.

those too. haha, and lets not forget the price of the iSt door visors. in my opinion, though it is a very nice piece, it's PRETTY over priced. but oh well...you pay good money for good items. haha

Easy stuff to install =P The door sills take a little more time though.

Scion is clearing out some accessories through March. You may want to take a look: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=250660
