Whoever designed your seats, front consoles, and seat belt placement on the roof in the XD needs to be fired. The only thing I see that you did right on the XD is the new drivetrain and widening it a little for better handling, besides that your car sux

I don't know whats goin around here. I got my car appraised at the dealership to see if a trade in was possible for the xd and guess what it was.....................................................................................................................................................................................................11,XXX for a 06 rs3 with 3800mi. AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH i dont think i like the xd anyways from what i've seen in pictures. Maybe I will get whatever vehicle replaces the tc next year.

 

IF you don't like the photos you will HATE it in person. I saw it yesterday at the dealership and it is just butt ugly.

Hahahaha, o man I said the same thing when GM killed the Camaro/Firebird for the SSR n the GTO. The only difference was I had the pleasure of saying it to a GM representative's face. But I agree the xD has to be the fugliest car I've seen. And what ticks me off more is because of this POS we won't be gettin the Yaris 5door nor the Yaris TS. Not kool. All I can say is from what I've seen coming out of Scion lately I won't be a returning customer that's for sure. Toyota/Lexus yes, but not Scion.

blueturnipxa- $11,000 for a trade in??? Lol. Dude sell it urself. They're goin to buy it from u for $11K n then sell if for $16K. I bought my xA for $11k with 3800miles on it. The only thing was that it is a 5spd and I bought it off a BMW dealer, lmao. But seriously the Toyota dealers by me charge $16k for an 05's with 34K miles on em.

Well, with all the marketing they are doing for the xD (even LESS than what they did for the xA!!!), don't expect it to go the full 3 year cycle.....Scion just needs to man up and just sell the xB2 and the tC... that is where their heart is.

lol, Scion cars have gone downhill after the tC...

tC brought all the ricers to the Scion community. Then the xB2 is garbage and the xD has potential, but still will suck.

Im moving on and its def not into another Scion...

 

the xD will only have the true JDM aftermarket parts for it

xB2 and the tC will have zero JDM aftermarket parts

 

I saw one on the road this past weekend and it looked like a crunched up PT Cruiser or whatever that other car is by dodge.

I love my xA, but I have 100,000 miles on it now and will have to start looking in a year or so. Worried that I might have to go to a VW.

They're making a bunch of cool little cars now.

 

I test-drove an xD last weekend... and really liked it. On paper its far superior to the xA: more interior room, more power, equivalent fuel econ (when you consider the change in EPA ratings)... plus cruise control, AUX input, more air bags, etc.

But I decided to keep my xA because
1) It's not finished yet
2) just like every other car made that way, I CAN'T SEE THE GAUGES THROUGH THE STEERING WHEEL!!!

 

That's an interesting opinion, since most people say the xA looks like a shrunken PT Cruiser....
