Default Extra wire connections under shifter console?

Does anyone know what these extra wire connections are for? Noticed them today when I was taking apart my shifter console to replace the shifter boot.

those are for an automatic transmission i believe all the cars are wired close to the same but the manual version does not need as many of the hookups so that connection is not needed and just sits there lol

Could I somehow utilize those for something else...say like fog lights since they're not being used and I'm assuming are already going through the firewall?

I wonder if that is the wire used to light up the gear selector for the auto transmissions? If so then that should be a hot 12volt wire when you turn on your running lights.

on the auto version there is a little indicator up by your gas guage that tells you if the car is in drive park so on and that is what it is for. it does not go through the fire wall i believe just goes up to the dash to register what gear you have the car in is all there may be a hot wire in there to use for something but not sure if it will work with anything or not.

If you get OEM fog lights, there should be a pre-wired harness for the fog lights in the front-end.
