How'd you install the door lights? If they actually do give out light enough to see the floor it might be a good buy. I r teh jealous!

Sorry for sounding like a noob, but are all the lighted Scion Doorsills the same size? Or do they vary from car to car??? I wouldn't mind getting a set for the xD...

If you install them like the people in the auction pictures - then yes, definitely reminds you of emergency lighting on a Delta flight, but if the LEDs are not directly visible, then it's a whole different animal.

Saw something like that at Autozone. Looks like they light up nicely. I installed 4 Cold Cathode Tubes(2 front, 2 under front seats for the rear) on my brothers Xd this past weekend. A whoppin $15 with shipping from Ebayland. Wired them to the interior lighting and threw in a switch. Ill see about getting some pics

 

Liking the lit up door sills...are those only available for the xD or do they fit on the xA as well?

 

I think you can rig them to the xA - if you want, I'll check the sizing sunday night when I'll have both cars in the garage.

 

I am digging the footwell lights. Are these a couple of LED strips off of the eBay link? How hard is it to figure out how to hook them up? I'm a total n00b when it comes to cars.

I think I might go with white LEDs. Every piece of electronics that I own has blue LEDs and I'm beginning to get tired of them.

 

Yes, footwells are off the eBay link. I can show where they need to be hooked up if you get them - same 2 wires that power the door sills, so I can post up the PDF for the doorsills and you can go from there.
