Default LED swap info.

since i've been getting a lot of questions, i'll just post it here...

just know that the TOTAL cost for the entire swap will be over $100. roughly. good luck.

the back-up LED's are WLED-CWHP15-T (order 2) from superbrightleds.com. the wedge size is "921" or "168" (same thing)

the amber ones i bought on ebay motors from a guy named "sixity", the rear ones are AMBER LED sized "992" or "7440A". the front ones are AMBER LED and are size "7440". both sets are "LED 'tower' SMT" kind. you will also need the LED turn signal flasher from VLED's. here is the link for that: http://www.v-leds.com/BlinkerWarning...-p4481146.html

the tail/brake lights are from VLED's, (order 2) and are 27 RED LED SMT "tower" size "7443".

the license plate lights are size "168" bought off ebay motors.

the map lights (order 2) are size "168" bought off velocity shop... http://velocityshop.com/product/194-...pair-_606.html

the dome light is size 3175, here is the link... http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...-p7114833.html

the cargo hatch light is a 3022 bulb with a bent tab ordered from garage2117 on here.

the amber LED lights are for the side markers of my xD. the actual orange part of the headlight casing behind the turn signals.

i found them on ebay. the best place is the chinese auctioners. find the right size light and color, and you're set within 2 weeks. paid $0.81 for my set of 2, with shipping at $2.29. i'll provide a link.

he has been the best to work with. i ordered blue 4 LED wedge bulbs for my "parking" lights in the headlights, and they're great, too. takes around 2 weeks to ship, but well worth the wait.

i don't see why it would cost you over $100..

and any type of outside LED bulbs used as taillights/turn signals/brake lights... will not be as effective in most cases and i wouldn't suggest getting them anyway.

interior lights and license plate lights.. and the such are fine, and you don't need much more beyond that.

I have swapped every bulb and I can tell you it cost me WAY over 100$. I did buy really bright bulbs off of oznium though ( and superbrightleds for rest, ebay bulbs never cut it)

Trunk light and dome light are from Oznium 60$ for

Map lights, plate lights, day time running lights, lights that go in side marker 80$ for 8

Lights for turn signals, back up, turn signal(back) and brake were 20$ each for 160$ for 8 ( bulbs are 7440/7443 )

Tons of superflux for turn signals on mirrors and gauge cluster, were about 40-50$ 74's for shift(AT trans) and ac controls were 24$ for 8

(Before anyone flames all signals are white or amber for legal reasons and are much brighter than stock)

Great guide though! Just showing my trip to the bottom of my wallet for bulbs and lights lol

oh and $20 for the turn signal LED flasher

Depends on what you buy, I could buy four 194 led tower bulbs that would cost over $100.

why you guys spend that much when you can get the same amount of brightness for much cheaper... i dunno..

then again.. people love to think the more they spend, the better the product is..
somewhat understandable.

and also.. then again, i'm the guy who likes to just do stuff myself..

I doubt anyone is paying people to install their LED's (besides side mirror LED's) at least I hope not. It just depends on what you buy...tower style bulbs can get very expensive depending on how many LED's are used and the brightness of the bulb in general.

our side mirrors are already LED. I don't understand why people "swap" them?

I doubt any cops would pull over. Most would probably not even notice it since so many cars come with red turn single indicators from the factory.
